Instructions:
Knead together white Sculpey with a bit of ochre Fimo until pie-crust color is obtained.  Roll tiny balls aproximately 3/16 inch in size for peeled apples.  Then roll out Sculpey mixture on flat surface until very thin. With X-Acto knife, cut squares approximately 1/2 inch on each side.  Place peeled apple balls on square and fold diagonal corners to center.  Gently pinch open ends together.  Bake in oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.  When cool, arrange and glue on platter and brush on a little amber glass stain for a "from the oven" look.
To make syrup, pour small amount of casting resin into paper cup.  Add amber transparent dye and just a touch of black opague color.  Add needed amount of catalyst (usual formula is 10 drops catalyst to 1 ounce of resin) and stir thoroughly.  Carefully pour catalyzed mixture into pitcher.  Using toothpick, drizzle some syrup over apple dumplings on platter.  Allow to harden undisturbed for at least to hours.
