Roll a ball of caramel Fimo approximately 1/4 inch in diameter.  Make indentation in top of apple with a modeling tool or narrow pencil eraser.  With X-Acto knife, cut sticks from coffee stirrer about 1/32 inch wide and about 3/8 inches long.  Insert stick into apple.  Bake in oven at 200 to 250 degrees for 10 minutes.  Remove and let cool.  For nuts, roll very thin snake of transparent/ochre mixture of Fimo. Bake as above, then while still warm, chop into nuts with X-Acto knife.  Gather chopped nuts into a pile on a piece of aluminum foil.  Coat bottom half of caramel apple with 527 Craft cement then dip apple into pile of nuts until evenly coated.  When glue has dried, gloss apple with amber glass stain.  Arrange and glue apples onto miniature plate or onto small piece of wax paper.
Fimo, resin, supplies and "empties" are available at miniatures and hobby/craft stores
