The basic wedding cake is made from resin poured into molds, iced with tile caulking and decorated with pastels.
Pour small amount of casting resin into paper cup.  Stir in a bit of white opague color.  Add twice the amount of usual catalyst.  This will aid in the easy removal of layers from molds.  Stir thoroughly.  Pour catalyzed mixture carefully in all four wedding cake pans (molds) filling them all the way to the rim. Allow to harden undisturbed overnight.
Remove cake layers from the pans by tapping on bottom of pan until layer comes out.  If you have a problem with sticking do the following with Caution.  Turn on oven until warm (100 degrees).  Turn oven off and place cake pans in oven for one hour.  This method causes resin to shrink back from sides of molds for easy removal.
Stack and glue cake layers together.  Allow to dry.  Using toothpick, thinly and evenly ice cake with white caulking.  Start from bottom and work up, giving icing slightly textured look.  Let dry at least two hours.
Decorate cake with flowers and leaves cut from assorted pastel colors of Fimo.  Use 3/16 inch flower cutter for flowers and cut as many as you desire.  Cup each slightly using end of toothpick.  Leaves are made by cutting 3/8 inch flowers with X-Acto knife, cutting each petal into tiny leaves.  Veins on leaves are made by scoring with X-Acto knife.  Bake flowers and leaves in over at 250 degrees for 10 minutes.  When cool, arrange and glue flowers and leaves one by one onto cake in pleasing pattern.  Paint entire cake with matte finish gloss.  Glue onto platter.
