HAMEN TASCHEN WITH PRUNE FILLING
by Mary Eccher
Tools and Materials
Fimo --- transparent, yellow,
terra cotta and black
Amber glass stain
1/2 inch round Kemper cutter
Masking tape
toothpicks
Miniature platter
Knead a bit of yellow Fimo into transparent.  Roll out on flat surface until very thin.  Cut circles with 1/2 inch round Kemper cutter. For prune filling, darken terra cotta Fimo with black.  Break off tiny irregular piece and gently place in center of circle.  With fingertip, roll outer edge of circle into center over prune filling, at three evenly spaced points.  In other words, rounded triangular shape would be formed.  Bake Hamen Taschen at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.  When cool, place on piece of masking tape, sticky side up.  For "just baked" look, paint with amber glass stain.  When dry, arrange and glue on platter.
