With compass and pencil, draw two half-circles on foamcore, one 1/4 inch larger than the other.  Smaller one will be bottom of table and larger one will be the top.  Using a new No. 11 X-Acto blade, score along line once, then go over again to cut through.  Never cut through foamcore on first try.  It has a tendacy to pack down when this is done.
Measure around outer edge of smaller half-circle with tape measure.  Cut piece of foamcore 2 1/4 inches by that measurement.  Score this piece of foamcore at 1 inch intervals and bend along these cuts.  Do not cut all the way through!  (Diagram 1).
Place smaller half-circle on a flat surface and glue strip of foamcore around outside of it.  Pins inserted in strip will hold it in place while glue dries.  Glue larger half-circle (top) on top of this assembly and let dry.  Set aside while you make the tablecloth.  Cut piece of natural color fabric to fit top of table plus 1/4 inch all around.  Apply thin layer of glue to top of table and 1/4 inch around sides.  Place fabric on and smooth in place.  Cut strips of table cloth fabric 2-3/4 inches wide and turn under 1/4 inch hem.  You can glue hem instead of sewing it.  Follow instructions given with Pretty Pleater, pleat enough fabric to cover sides of table plus 1/4 inch on each end.  Glue pleated fabric around table, making sure hemmed edge is flush with bottom edge of table.  Let dry.
