NOTE:  Polymer clays are a non-toxic medium unless burned during baking.  The fumes of burnt clays can be very toxic.

HELPFUL HINTS
1. Fimo is beautifully adaptable to Sculpey Modeling Clays.  Since white Sculpey is very soft, try using it in place of white Fimo when pastel shades are needed.

2. To stain, paint or gloss your miniature creations, attach a piece of masking tape, sticky-side up, to a flat surface. Your items will then be held in place whether you use a brush or spray.

3. Modeling clays can be beautifully textured with terrarium sand kneaded into it.

4. Any books and instructions out there for bread dough miniatures can easily be adapted to modeling clays, simply by using the clay colors in place of mixing the bread dough colors.....and with lasting results.

5. KEMPER CUTTERS are grear for Foods and Flowers. They come in four shapes.....flower, leaf, circle and heart. Various sizes are available but the most versatile for miniatures are the 3/16", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", and 1" size. For example, the 3/8" Flower cutter makes great gingerbread men, the 1" heart or circle cutter is wonderful for cutting out cake shapes.
