Tomatoes:
Knead together one part red polymer clay to one part orange.  Roll a ball approximately 5/16 inch in diameter.  With the blunt side of X-acto knife, make four vertical indentations around the tomato.
For calyx, mix a touch of black polymer clay into leaf green and roll mixture out onto flat surface to a thickness of thin cardboard.  Cut calyxes using a 3/16 inch Kemper flower cutter.  Using a toothpick, press calyx on top of tomato.
String Beans:
These are a little tricky, but with a bit of practice you will be rolling bushels of them. Knead a bit of white polymer clay into leaf green until a good string bean color is attained.  Break off a tiny speck and roll into a ball between thumb and forefinger.  Then roll the ball with your forefinger on a flat surface, first forward then back and flip bean onto baking pan.  Make as many as you need to fill your colander and canning jars, plus a few for your basket and cutting board.
Arrange and glue your bunch of carrots, tomatoes, and some string beans into your basket.  Arrange and glue string beans into colander.
Using a piece of excess polymer clay, make a "false bottom" in your cooking pot by pressing it into pot until it is half full.
In a paper cup, using Polymer Compound 2-part kit, pour equal amounts of 1 part resin to 1 part catalyst (no color or dye needed).  Stir thoroughly.  To fill cooking pot, pour a bit of the catalyzed resin into pot and add carrots, arranging them with a toothpick.  Add a bit more resin if necessary.
To fill canning jars, drizzle a few drops of resin into each jar by letting drops fall into the jar from the tip of a toothpick.  Add vegetables, using toothpick to arrange them.  Add a few more drops of resin, if necessary.  Do not overfill.  Cap your jars.
On cutting board, drizzle a few drops of resin, add a few string beans and a small cutting knife.  Allow resin to harden over night.
Using Fimo matte lacquer, paint vegetables in basket and colander.  This will give them a wonderful sheen without making them too shiny.
