Potato salad:  Knead together just the slighest touch of Ochre Fimo into Transparent Fimo.  (If you wish, you may put a false bottom in your bowl by pressing in a piece of the mixed Fimo.  Fewer sliced potatoes will then be needed to fill the bowl).  Roll a snake about 1/8 inch in diameter.  With single edge razor blade, cut thin diagonal slices from snake.  Drop slices into baking pan.  For grated carrots, roll a very thin snake of Orange Fimo about 2 inches long.  Bake all salad ingredients as directed.  For mayonaise dressing, mix a slight touch of pale yellow acrylic paint into Elmer's Glue.  Dip a toothpick into the glue mixture and touch toothpick to potato slices to glue in bowl.  Repeat till bowl is full.  Chop orange snake into tiny pieces and sprinkle on top of salad.
Lemonade:    Mix a small amount of resin and catalyst in a paper cup.  With a toothpick, add the slightest touch each of yellow transparent dye and white opaque color.  Stir thoroughly.  Carefully pour catalyzed mixture into pitcher and glasses until each is about half full.  Drop in a few clear baking crystals for ice cubes and insert bristle from toothbrush for straws.  Allow to harden undisturbed overnight.
Strawberry cheesecake:  From Red Fimo, roll five or six 4 inch snakes approximately 1/16 inch diameter.  Knead a touch of Ochre Fimo into White.  Roll out 1/4 inch thick on flat surface.  Using 3/4 inch round Kemper cutter, cut out cake.  With thumb, gently press shallow depression in cake top, leaving a small rim around top.  Bake all as directed.
Cut snakes into strawberry slices with single edge razor blade.  With thumb, rub Ochre artist's chalk around outside of cake for a baked look.  Mix a very small amount of resin in a paper cup.  With a toothpick, add red transparent dye and stir thoroughly.  Drizzle a few drops of resin mixture into depression  on top of cake.  Sprinkle in strawberry slices. Arrange as desired, using more resin, if necessary. Let harden undisturbed overnight.
You may cut cake into serving pieces by following these instructions.  Let resin harden.  Heat oven to 150 degrees, then TURN OVEN OFF.  Place cake in oven for five minutes.  Fimo and resin will soften just enough to enable you to cut your pieces with a single edge razor blade.
Finished Fimo pieces, such as meat platters, may be given a thin coat of Fimo Matte Lacquer for a beautiful sheen.
Fimo, resin, and other supplies for this project are available at miniatures and craft stores.
