Hamburgers, cooked:  Knead together one part Brick Red Fimo to one part Terra Cotta Fimo just until a marbled look is attained.  Break off a bit and roll a ball between your fingertips, about 1/4 inch in diameter.  Gently press the ball onto craft Styrofoam to flatten and texture it.  Score a few "grill marks" on each side with the back edge of an X-Acto knife blade.  Bake as instructed on previous page.  Place baked hamburgers on the sticky side of a piece of masking tape and paint with brown glass stain.  While stain is still wet, sprinkle on a bit of brown terranium sand to give a barbecue texture.
These cooked hamburgers can be used in buns, on cooked meat platter, and on the grill.
Raw hamburgers:  Knead together two part Brick Red Fimo, one part Rosewood Fimo, and one part Transparent Fimo just until a marbled look is attained. Break off a bit and roll a ball between your fingertips approximately 1/4 inch in diameter.  Gently press onto craft Styrofoam to flatten and texture it. Bake as instructed.
Hot dogs, cooked: Knead together two parts Rosewood Fimo, one part Orange Fimo, and one part White Fimo until thoroughly mixed.  Break off a bit and roll a ball between your fingertips approximately 3/16 inch in diameter.  Then on flat surface, roll ball into hot dog shape.
Score a few "grill marks" on each with back edge of X-Acto knife blade.  Bake as instructed.  Place hot dogs on sticky side of masking tape and paint sparingly with brown glass stain.
Uncooked hot dogs:  Follow instructions for cooked hot dogs but do not score with X-Acto knife or paint with brown glass stain.
Barbecued chicken:  Knead just a touch of Ochre Fimo into White Fimo.  Form chicken as shown in photo, using the side of a toothpick in a rolling motion to taper and shape legs. Bake as instructed.
Place baked chicken parts on sticky side of masking tape and paint with brown glass stain.  While stain is still wet, sprinkle on a bit of brown terranium sand.
Raw chicken:  Follow instructions for barbecue chicken but do not paint with stain.
Hamburger buns:  Knead just a touch of Ochre Fimo into White Fimo.  Roll out on a flat surface to 1/4 inch thick (for rolling, handle X-Acto works well).  Set aside.  Knead Caramel Fimo until soft.  Roll out on flat surface as thin as possible without tearing.  To prevent sticking as you roll, pick piece up often and wipe surface with tissue.
Place a piece of thin Caramel Fimo on top of White Fimo.  Roll flat across just once.  Turn piece over and place another piece of Caramel Fimo on White Fimo.  Roll flat across, making sure entire piece is rolled to an even thickness.  Use 3/8 inch round Kemper cutter, cut out buns.  Shape and smooth edges with fingertips.  Bake as instructed.  When baked, buns can be cut with a single edge razor blade to allow gluing in hamburgers.
Hot Dog Buns:   Follow instructions for hamburger buns, but after cutting out with Kemper tool, gently shape into hot dog bun.  It is best to cut bun open BEFORE baking to insert hot dog, then bake as instructed.
