with fingertips, and bake as above.  For sugar-coating procedure, place baked funnel cakes and fastnachts into paper cup.  With stirring stick, drizzle in a bit of clear glass stain and stir until all pieces are coated.  Immediately sprinkle in beige terrarium sand, shaking cup until all pieces are evenly coated.  Pour out onto piece of wax paper and allow to air dry.  Arrange and glue into miniature basket.

FUNNEL CAKES AND FASTNACHTS

Tools and Materials
Beige terrarium sand
Clear glass stain
5/16 inch round kemper cutter
Paper cup, toothpicks
stirring stick
Miniature basket
  Fimo --- transparent tinted with ochre for funnel cakes, caramel (1 part) mixed with ochre (1 part)
for fastnachts.
    Using funnel cake color, roll thin snake about 1/16 inch in diameter.  Cut a 2 1/2 inch length and curl this into irregular open pin-wheel shape.  Bake in oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.  For fastnachts, roll caramel-ochre mix out on flat surface to thickness of 1/8 inch.  For square doughnuts, use needle-nose plier to shape round Kemper cutter into square-shaped cutter.  Cut doughnuts, smoothing edges
