SWEDISH MEATBALLS AND FRIED ZUCCHINI STICKS
Tools and Materials
Terra Cotta
Black, transparent & ochre Fimo
Small piece of Velcro
Brown & yellow terrarium sand
Paper cup
Toothpicks
For meatballs, knead a bit of black Fimo into terra cotta until half mixed.  Roll tiny balls about 1/8 inch in diameter.  To texture meatballs, roll them around on a piece of Velcro.  Bake them in oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.  Let cool.  Place baked meatballs in a paper cup.  With toothpick, drizzle into cup a few drops of amber glass stain, stir until meatballs are coated, then immediately sprinkle in some brown terrarium sand.  Shake cup a bit until meatballs are coated.  Let dry.
For zucchini sticks, knead just a touch of ochre into transparent Fimo.  Roll out on flat surface to thickness of about 1/8 inch.  With X-acto knife, cut irregular strips 3/8 inches long, and bake in oven as above.  When cool, coat as meatballs above but use amber glass stain with yellow terrarium sand.  Arrange and glue both meatballs and zucchini sticks onto serving platter.  For dip, fill bowl with red sauce.
