MEAT LOAF WITH VICTORY GARDEN VEGETABLES
Tools and Materials
Sculpey --- White
Fimo --- rosewood, terra cotta,
  orange, and leaf green
Cream of Farina
Small piece of craft Styrofoam
Masking tape
Glass stain --- brown
Straight edge razor
X-Acto knife
Fimo matte lacquer
Platter, knife and fork
Knead a tiny bit of both rosewood and terra cotta Fimo into a piece of white Sculpey until a good "baked interior" meat loaf color is attained.  To give texture to meat, knead some cream of farina into the Fimo mixture.  Form meat loaf, approximately 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. Texture top and sides of loaf by gently pressing with a piece of craft Styrofoam.  Place in baking pan.
For carrots, roll a tiny piece of orange Fimo into teardrop shape and score around sides of carrot with blunt edge of X-Acto knife blade.  Make about 12.  For stringbeans, knead a bit of white Sculpey into a piece of leaf green Fimo.  Break of a tiny speck and roll into a ball between thumb and forefinger.  Then roll the ball with your forefinger on a flat surface, first forward then back, and flip into
baking pan.  This takes a bit of practice but once you get it right you will have realistic-looking string beans.  Make 12 to 14.
Bake all in oven at 200 to 250 degrees for 10 minutes.  Remove pan from oven and while meat loaf is still warm, cut 2 or 3 slices with straight-edge razor, not quite all the way through.
Place a piece of masking tape on a flat surface sticky side up.  Place meat loaf on tape and give it a coat of brown glass stain for a "just-baked" look.  Let dry, then glue to platter; arrange and glue vegetables around meat loaf.  Paint with a thin coat of Fimo Matte Lacquer.
