POTATO LATKES WITH APPLESAUCE

Tools and Materials
Fimo --- ochre and transparent
Amber glass stain
Yellow terrarium sand
Resin and catalyst
5/16 inch round Kemper cutter
Transparent dye - yellow or red
Unflavored gelatin
Paper cup, stirring stick & toothpicks
Miniature platter and small bowl
    Knead a tiny bit of ochre into transparent Fimo.  Roll out on flat surface until very thin.  Cut pancakes with 5/16 inch round Kemper cutter, then flatten each a bit more between fingertips before dropping into baking pan.  Bake for 200 degrees for 10 minutes.  When cool, put pancakes in paper cup.  With stiring stick, drizzle in a few drops of amber glass stain and stir pancakes until coated.  Sprinkle in a few pinches of yellow terrarium sand and shake cup gently until pancakes are coated.  Pour out onto piece of aluminum foil to dry.  Arrange and glue pancakes to platter.  Pour tiny amount of resin into paper cup.  Add slightest touch of either yellow or red transparent dye,
