For apples, roll tinted transparent Fimo into ball about 1/4 inch diameter.  Make five.  "Core" apples by poking toothpick through center.  Bake them in oven at 250 degrees for 10 minutes.  Set aside to cool.
For cider, pour necessary amount of casting resin into a paper cup.  Add amber transparent dye and just a touch of white opague color, then stir with stirring stick.  Add needed amount of catalyst (usual formula is 10 drops of catalyst to 1 ounce of resin) and mix thoroughly.  Carefully pour catalyzed mixture into punch bowl and cups.  When mixture begins to "gel" (usually within 10 to 20 minutes), arrange apples half-submerged in cider.  (Note: Resin must be watched carefully and tested periodically with a toothpick to assure the correct consistency to "float" the apples.)  Let harden undisturbed for at least four hours.  To garnish with whipped cream, glue bits of Polyform  Modelling Compound to surface of cider in bowl and in cups.  Texture into whipped cream with tip of X-Acto knife.
